Google Analytics

Google Analytics is Google's web analytics service. When this integration is enabled and configured, Ink Player forwards player events — such as plays — to your Google Analytics property, so playback shows up alongside the rest of your site analytics.

What this integration does

• Sends player events (like plays) to your Google Analytics property.
• Lets you see playback activity within your existing Google Analytics reports.

How to connect

1. Go to Settings → Integrations.
2. Find the Google Analytics card under the Analytics category.
3. Click Enable, then Manage.
4. Connect Ink Player to your Google Analytics property.
5. Click Save.

This integration is separate from Ink Player's own built-in Analytics, which tracks playback without any external service. Google Analytics is for surfacing player events inside your existing Google reporting.

Requirements

• A Google Analytics account with a property to send events to.

Notes

• Events may take some time to appear in Google Analytics reports.
• For playback insights that work out of the box — no external service required — use Ink Player's built-in Analytics.
