Vimeo

Vimeo is a Video integration. With it enabled, you can add a Vimeo video to your library by pasting its URL — Ink Player fetches the details and plays it through Vimeo's embed.

What the integration does

When you paste a Vimeo URL, Ink Player automatically fetches the video's metadata so you don't have to enter it by hand.

Connecting Vimeo

1. Go to Settings → Integrations and enable Vimeo (Video category).
2. That's it — no credentials are required.

Adding a Vimeo video

1. Start adding new media.
2. Paste a Vimeo URL.
3. Ink Player auto-fetches the video's metadata.
4. Save the media item.

The video plays through Vimeo's embed.

WARNING

Platform embeds can't be truly access-protected. You can place a Vimeo video on a gated page, but the underlying video remains reachable on Vimeo itself. See Access control for what protection is and isn't possible with embedded platforms.

Added videos appear in your Media library alongside your other content.
